Protect your kids on Facebook

I've got a bunch of work to post that i've been slacking on. Spending a day updating a bunch of websites I'm on. Didn't realize that staying connected to so many social networks takes so much time. Who ever said that computers will make life faster should be slapped up side the head. This piece was for MONEY magazine.

As the movie title suggests, Facebook has become the social network. Teens are using it for almost every aspect of their social lives, from promoting their relationship status (available), to reporting on last night's party (check out the photos!), to playing games (level up on FarmVille). But Facebook's popularity has led to some unintended consequences -- risks that could endanger your child's financial well-being and possibly yours as well. - Excerpt from Money Magazine article by: Karen Cheney, contributing writerNovember 26, 2010
